Stamped and Bent Insulation Parts

On efficient eccentric presses we stamp and bend insulation parts to size.

Up to 1,000 x 2,000 mmSteel rule and hardened toolsAdhesive parts possible

As a manufacturer with over 60 years of experience we produce stamped parts from electrical insulation materials to drawing, sample or customer specification. We draw on long experience with steel rule tools and on precise, in-house made solid steel tools.

Thanks to our in-house tool shop and its expertise in stamping tools and fixtures, there are virtually no limits to what we can produce. Hauler & Hermann handles CAD design, tool making and part production, all from a single source.

Large-format stamped parts up to 1,000 x 2,000 mm are as much part of the portfolio as small, intricate insulation parts.

Steel rule or solid steel tooling

The tooling choice determines unit cost and precision. Steel rule tools are quick and inexpensive to make, ideal for samples, small series and large-area parts. Solid steel tools from our own tool shop offer maximum precision and tool life for tight tolerances and high volumes. We advise which tool type is most economical for your geometry and quantity, and build both in-house.

Adhesive stamped parts

We apply adhesive tapes and stamp fully adhesive materials on our own machinery. Self-adhesive stamped parts eliminate an entire step in your assembly and are already used across many industries, from electronics to motor manufacturing.

Manufacturing at Hauler & Hermann

Stamping is done on efficient eccentric presses in Filderstadt. The tools are made in our own tool shop on CNC turning, milling and grinding machines, so new projects including tooling take only a few weeks. We process sheet insulation of thermal classes B, F, H and C, from pressboard and polyester film to Nomex aramid paper and laminates. Production is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001. See our solution page stamping for the process.

Selection criteria for purchasing and design

For a quote we need a drawing or sample, the desired material or thermal class, tolerance requirements and quantities. Prototypes are available from a quantity of 1 so you can verify fit before series release. We advise on materials from our well-stocked warehouse, independent of any single manufacturer. Frequently asked questions

What sizes are possible for stamped parts?

We produce large-format stamped parts up to 1,000 x 2,000 mm as well as small, intricate insulation parts. The limit is rarely the format but the geometry, and with our own tool shop we almost always find a solution.

What is the difference between steel rule and solid steel tools?

Steel rule tools are inexpensive and quick to make, ideal for samples, small series and large formats. Solid steel tools offer maximum precision and long tool life for tight tolerances and high volumes. Hauler & Hermann builds both types in-house.

Which materials can be stamped?

We stamp electrical insulation materials of thermal classes B, F, H and C, including pressboard, polyester films, aramid papers, polyimide films and laminates, plus self-adhesive materials, prepregs, PEEK films, mica tapes and nonwovens.

Are self-adhesive stamped parts possible?

Yes. We apply adhesive tapes or stamp fully adhesive materials directly on our own machinery, saving you an assembly step in your production.

How does a stamped part project run from enquiry to series?

You send a drawing or sample, we advise on material and tool type, design in our in-house CAD, build the tool and deliver samples for approval. Implementation including tooling typically takes a few weeks, then series production starts.
